Garlic Green BEANS
Sometimes I loath when the green beans are ready. I mean they come fast, furious and canning them is the pits. I will have tubs of green beans all at the same time and after freezing, canning, and dehydrating them, I realize that it is time to make dinner. So, I will take the pile I have left and look to do the least amount of work as possible. I do not even bother cut or trim the beans, just toss them on the pan throw in some garlic and cheese and let the oven do the rest. Green bean day, done.
Serves a family
1 bunch of green beans, one pound washed
2 tablespoons of olive oil
Salt and Pepper to taste
3 cloves garlic, minced
¼ cup parmesan cheese
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees. Drizzle a baking sheet with olive oil. Spread the beans out on the sheet coating them in the oil. Season with the salt, pepper garlic and cheese. Toss beans to evenly coat. Roast in the oven for 20-25 minutes. Add more salt and pepper to taste.
