Acorn Squash Bowl

Ingredients

1 acorn squash
1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon of brown sugar
salt and pepper to taste

Cut the acorn squash in half lengthwise. Scoop out the seeds. Place the squash cut-side down onto a parchment lined baking. Place in a preheated 350 degree oven. Bake for 20-30 minutes or until the squash is soft when pressed on.

Remove from the oven. Flip the squash over. Divide the butter and brown sugar in half and place in the cavity of the squash. Once the butter has melted, used a fork to mix. Salt and pepper to taste.
